A 23-year-old man died on Tuesday afternoon after losing control of his moped and crashing into a commercial vehicle on Tel Aviv's Ayalon Highway, between interchanges La Guardia and Hashalom. Kfir Ben-David, 23, a resident of Rishon Lezion, sustained mortal injuries as a result of the crash and was treated at the scene by an MDA team. However, he succumbed to his wounds less than an hour later. Police said the man had been riding on the shoulder of the road when the accident occurred. The exact cause of the accident was unclear.
