Ministers blocks bill to annex W. Bank settlements

The Ministerial Committee on Legislation on Wednesday voted down Likud MK Miri Regev's bill which would have fully extended Israeli law to West Bank settlements, which are now under Israeli military rule.
According to Israel Radio, Regev argued for passing the bill, saying it would achieve the national camp's goal of lifting limits on building in Judea and Samaria.
The ministers present requested Regev to withdraw her bill so that a vote would not be required, but Regev insisted on a vote.
Subsequently, the ministers rejected Regev's bill.
