'Most of secular Jewish identity education from religious'

79 percent of organizations that provide educational content for culture and identity segments in secular, government-run schools are Jewish religious organizations, according to a report released by Wednesday by Israeli non-profit, Israeli Education, that seeks to protect and promote the quality of the secular humanist education taught in Israel's secular school system.
Religious organizations were accused by Israeli Education of subverting the goals and values secular educational system by intentionally entering a religious worldview into the classroom through provision of free educational materials to secular schools.
"We must protect school autonomy of to prevent the penetration of inappropriate materials that would threaten the basic principles of the [secular]public education system and threatens it's existence," said Israeli Education CEO Oren Yehi-Shalom.
