Hizbullah chief Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah on Friday called for unity in the upcoming Lebanese elections, according to media reports. He also declared that the terrorist group "cannot be disarmed by force."
Speaking at the 'Resistance and Liberation Festival,' Nasrallah told residents of the Bekaa Valley that the area had been the "base for launching the resistance in Lebanon." Their support for Hizbullah, he said, was "natural, patriotic, and Islamic."
The "resistance," Lebanese reported quoted him as saying, "did not enjoy national consensus from the beginning."
