Netanyahu calls Pittsburgh Rabbi, sends condolences

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called Rabbi Jeffrey Myers of the Tree of Life synagogue on Saturday.
Netanyahu repeated his message of condolences on the day marking one week since the attack that took 11 lives in the Pittsburgh synagogue, just as the final funeral was taking place.
"I want to thank all the leaders in the United States and around the world who have condemned this horrendous antisemitic attack," said Netanyahu. "I want to thank President Trump for going with his family to pay their respects to the dead and to visit the wounded, and for his powerful statement that 'those seeking [the Jewish people's] destruction: we will seek their destruction.'"
