Netanyahu offers aid, condolences to Cyprus after blast

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Monday telephoned Cypriot President Dimitris Christofias offering his condolences on an explosion that killed 12 people at a military base where confiscated Iranian arms were being held.
Netanyahu told Christofias that Israel remembers and appreciates the help that Cyprus granted Israel during the Carmel fire and would return the favor by providing Cyprus with medical and rescue equipment to help in the aftermath of the deadly blast.
