Olmert at Jpost conference: Make real concessions for peace

Former prime minister Ehud Olmert on Sunday questioned the importance of keeping Palestinian areas in the city of Jerusalem inside Israeli territory.
Speaking at the Jerusalem Post conference in New York, Olmert said that "we must protect the democratic and Jewish nature of Israel," but added that "in order to achieve a two-state solution we have to sit down with the other side."
"Two years ago if we had talked about the two-state solution we would have been called traitors," he said.
