PA revokes decision to ban Al Jazeera from West Bank

The Palestinian Authority has revoked its decision to suspend Al Jazeera television's operations in the West Bank, days after sanctioning it for airing 'false reporting,' the news network reported on Saturday. Salaam Fayad, the Palestinian Authority prime minister, said in a statement on Saturday: "I have decided to revoke the suspension of the work of the bureau of Al Jazeera." Fayad added the PA would pursue legal action against the broadcaster "for its continuous incitement against the Palestine Liberation Organization and the Palestinian National Authority." On Wednesday, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas decided to ban Al-Jazeera television from operating in the West Bank after accusing it of inciting against him and the PA government.
