Pakistan: Bomb kills 6, wounds 25 near girls' school

A roadside bomb killed six people - including three foreigners - and wounded 25 near a girls' school in northwestPakistan Wednesday, according to police reports.

Local TV channels reported foreign aid workers andsecurity officials were among the casualties.
The explosion rocked the Shahi Koto area of Lower Dirdistrict as people were heading to an inauguration ceremony for theschool, local police official Nawaz Khan said. The exact cause wasnot immediately clear.
A convoy that included security officials was hitduring the blast as well.
