Palestinians call for probe on prisoner who died in Meggido

Various Palestinian activists and journalists on Twitter called for an investigation into the death of Aafat Jaradat, a 30-year-old Palestinian who died in Meggido prison of cardiac arrest on Saturday, claiming he died during interrogation.

"Arafat Jaradat is 30 years old did not have any prior health conditions he was killed today in Israeli prison interrogation," tweeted an activist under the Twitter moniker @Tweet_Palestine.

"Anything Israel says to justify the death of prisoner Jaradat is not credible. Never heard of a country criminalizing itself voluntary!" tweeted activist and journalist Abir Kopty.
