Peres condemns Iranian parliament's call to kill opposition

President Shimon Peres said that "it was an ugly appearance on television to see the [Iranian] parliament standing up and say 'kill the opposition,'" in a speach to the Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations on Wednesday.
Scolding Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Peres said that "what the president of Iran [is doing] is a shame upon Iranian history and Iranian culture and the pain of their own people."
