PM calls boy hurt in land mine explosion

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Friday phoned 11-year-old Daniel Yuval who lost his leg last week when a land mine exploded on the Golan Heights and praised him for his courage.
Yuval, who is recuperating at the Rambam Medical Center in Haifa, told the prime minister of his intention to establish a non-profit organization to ensure that accidents like his don't happen in the future.
Netanyahu, according to a statement put out by his office, told the boy that he was moved to hear how courageously he was dealing with his injury. "Your approach, despite your young age, is characterized by courage, bravery and wisdom," Netanyahu said.
