Police, AU: Explosion in Somali presidential compound

MOGADISHU - An explosion hit the presidential compound in the Somali capital Mogadishu on Wednesday, according to police and the African Union (AU).
Paddy Ankunda, spokesman for the AU's AMISOM force in Somalia, told Reuters the blast was near the speaker of parliament's house, which is inside the compound, and that three people had been killed.
