Police chase Palestinians who evaded arrest near Netanya

IDF police arrested seven Palestinians, 4 of them wanted by the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) after their vehicle was pulled over between Taibe and Netanya

An IDF officials said army police located a vehicle driving irregularly on Route 6 around 7:30 a.m., and asked it to pull over when it arrived in the Triangle city of Taibe.

Instead of stopping, the driver stepped on the gas and sped in the direction of Netanya. Another police vehicle stopped the escaping vehicle by blocking the road, and the driver pulled over.

The passengers immediately bolted from the car, running on-foot from the police - who said 13 Palestinians were traveling in the car. In the course of the chase, 7 were arrested, and 6 still remain at large.
