Pompeo: Iran's latest nuclear expansion will lead to further sanctions

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo warned Iran that its latest nuclear expansion will lead it to be further sanctioned, in a Twitter post on Sunday.
"Iran’s latest expansion of its nuclear program will lead to further isolation and sanctions," Pompeo wrote. "Nations should restore the longstanding standard of no enrichment for Iran’s nuclear program. Iran’s regime, armed with nuclear weapons, would pose an even greater danger to the world."
Iran announced on Sunday it will shortly boost its uranium enrichment above a cap set by a landmark 2015 nuclear deal, a major breach likely to draw a tougher reaction from President Donald Trump, who has pressured Tehran to renegotiate the pact.
