Pri Galil workers to PM: You're responsible for us too

Workers at the Upper Galilee fruit packing factory Pri Galil, who were laid off on Wednesday, sent a letter to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, saying he is responsible for their well-being as well as that of Tel Aviv residents.
In their plea to the prime minister, the 58 veteran workers who were laid off, requested that Netanyahu act to prevent the loss of their jobs. The workers refused to accept the notice of termination on Wednesday.
"Fifty-eight veteran workers that form a quality team, that have worked many years in the factory received notice of sudden termination," the letter said.
"This is the destruction of our home," the letter continued, "to people like this who have no other place other than the factory. We are turning to you with a real, honest and painful yell from the bottom of our hearts to expose responsibility, caring and sensitivity that a leader who is supposed to be responsible for the whole country should posses."
The prime minister, it said, is not only responsible "for the residents that live in the state of Tel Aviv."
