Report: Arab officials to outline sanctions next week

Representatives from seven different Arab countries will meet with Arab League Secretary-General Nabil Elaraby to outline the specifics for sanctions on Syria voted by the league Sunday evening, the Wall Street Journal reported.
Officials will decide in one meeting which Syrian officials will be under a travel ban, and a separate meeting will determine which commodities will be banned for export to Syria, according to the report.
The Arab League voted 19 to 22 to cast wide economic sanctions on Syria, where an ongoing government crackdown on anti-regime protesters has caused more than 3,500 deaths, according to the UN.
