Report: Egypt followed alleged Mossad spy Grapel since 2007

Egypt has been following Ilan Grapel, the man arrested for allegedly spying on Egypt for the Mossad, since his six-month visit to the country in 2007, Egyptian newspaper Al Youm A Sabaa reported Tuesday.
According the report, which was based on a "source familiar with investigations," Grapel visited the country in 2007 as a reporter and tourist, holding meetings with different political and opposition figures.
Grapel was arrested in Cairo in June for espionage, a charge Israel denies. Grapel's parents say that their son was working as an intern in an legal aid group.
