Report: Gaza experiences total communications blackout

Gaza Strip residents suffered from a near complete communications blackout for several hours overnight Tuesday, Palestinian news agency Ma'an reported.
Land lines, cellular services and Internet connectivity was all out of service late Tuesday night, although the cause of the blackout was unknown, according to the report.
Gaza residents reported that IDF bulldozers were seen operating near the border shortly before the blackout began, although it is unknown whether there was any connection between the two events.
The IDF Spokesman's Office denied that the IDF had any connection to the blackout and said no IDF bulldozers were digging near Nahal Oz Tuesday night, the spokesman said through an official Twitter account.
