Report: Palestinians to postpone Naksa protests

Palestinians in Lebanon will announce a postponement to Sunday's "Naksa Day" march to the Israeli border to commemorate the 1967 Six-Day War, a high-ranking Palestinian source told the Daily Star on Friday. Palestinians reportedly decided to hold off the demonstration after pressure from the Lebanese authorities.
The IDF and Lebanese Army had begun making security arrangements on Israel's northern border in order to avoid a repeat in the "Nakba Day" rallies that led to the deaths of 13 Palestinian demonstrators. The Lebanese Army had reportedly made the Blue Line just north of the border a "closed military zone," the Daily Star said.
