Report: School segregates Ethiopians

Ethiopian students from the religious boarding school Hasidim in the north are segregated in a separate learning stream according to an Army Radio report. An Ethiopian student at the school told the radio that "it is something we have become used to; that those students who are considered the best, the Israelis, receive the best education."
The CEO of the Israeli Association for Ethiopian Jews, Ziva Mekone-Degu said that she was "outraged" because her organization contacted the school with copies to the Ministry of Education at the beginning of the school year about the segregation issue and then she received a response that the problem was solved.
