Iran's nuclear plant in Bushehr is "safe" and will be used for peaceful purposes, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, according to a Wednesday Army Radio report.
Russia is supplying uranium fuel for the Bushehr facility which was scheduled to begin operations on Saturday.
