Saudi medical source: Yemen president's condition improving

Yemen's President Ali Abdullah Saleh's condition is continuing to improve, a medical source told Al-Alarabiya.
In an official statement issued on Yemen's state TV, the president thanked Saudi Arabian medical officials for aiding his recovery, and paid respects to the country's holy cities.
Saleh was injured when rebels attacked his palace, causing the president serious burns and shrapnel wounds to his chest. Opposition figures have demanded Saleh's ouster.
