Schalits to High Court: Don't delay prisoner exchange

Noam and Aviva Schalit asked the High Court on Sunday not to make any last-minute changes to the list of Palestinian prisoners to be exchanged for their son, Gilad Schalit, and requested to sit as respondents to a petition that was submitted to High Court to delay the consummation of the deal.
"We sympathize with the pain of the families and victims affected by terror attacks, but we are asking the High Court not to alter or delay in any way, no matter how small, the delicate fabric of the government-approved deal," a statement from the Schalit parents said.
The High Court will review on Monday a petition submitted by the Almagor Terror Victims Organization, who has called for the High Court to delay the exchange so that victims can organize and study the list of prisoners selected to be freed.
