Senior embassy employees send letter to PM about low wages

20 Israeli embassies and senior employees sent a letter to PM Binyamin Netanyahu demanded that he "intervene and save the Foreign Ministry," Israel Radio reported Saturday. Foreign Ministry employees in Jerusalem are reported to have said that the strongly worded letter is calling on Netanyahu to impose a solution to meet the economic strife of Foreign Ministry workers abroad.
Many of the employees, as was written in the letter, are struggling to finish the month due to such low salaries, and that this in turn has a negative effect on their ability to work diligently in such a demanding work environment.
The Foreign Ministry has not responded to the letter.
