Shekel weakens against dollar, euro in inter-bank trading

The shekel weakened against the dollar and euro in morning inter-bank trading Monday. The shekel-dollar exchange rate is up 0.18 percent, compared with Friday's representative rate, at NIS 3.782/$, and the shekel-euro exchange rate is up 0.40%, at NIS 4.932/€.
On Friday, the Bank of Israel set the shekel-dollar representative exchange rate at $3.775/$, up 1.07% on Thursday's rate, and set the shekel-euro representative exchange rate at NIS 4.913/€, up 0.32%.
In international markets, the dollar was strengthening against leading currencies. The dollar was up 0.3% against the euro, at $1.3037/€, it was up 0.3% against the pound, at $1.6025/£, and it was up 0.4% against the yen, at ¥87.8/$.
