In the latest of a series of arrests targeting an alleged Israeli spy ring, Lebanese officials detained a top telecommunications figure earlier this week.
The man was Charbel Qazzi, the head of transmissions and broadcasting at mobile phone network Alfa. The Lebanese government said that the man provided Israel with “sensitive information” that could harm Lebanon's national security.
