Tunisia gets third foreign minister in a month

TUNIS — Tunisia's official news agency said the country has named its third interim foreign minister in a month following the ouster of the longtime dictatorial regime.
The TAP new agency said Mouldi Kefi, a career diplomat, has taken the post. The agency's website shows pictures of him being sworn into office Monday by interim president Fouad Mebazaa.
Kefi has served in Tunisian embassies in countries including Russia and Indonesia. He replaces Ahmed Ounaies, who resigned a week ago.
Popular protests forced longtime Tunisian President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali to flee to Saudi Arabia on Jan. 14. Tunisia's caretaker government is preparing for elections planned for later this year.
