Two life sentences for Hamas Ofra terror attacker

Hamas terrorist Malik Hamad was sentenced to two life terms for the murder of IDF soldier Taharlev Alchi and the wounding of a second soldier during a ramming attack at the Ofra intersection in April.

Hamad was also fined NIS 280,000.

He was convicted of murder and of three counts of attempted murder regarding the second soldier and two other civilians whom he tried to run down, but missed.

The IDF said that it “shared in the sorrow” of Alchi’s family and will continue to give them support as well as to “act to bring about the full severity of justice against terror operatives.”
