Two Syrian infiltrators sent back to Syria

Two Syrian nationals who crossed illegally into Israel during Nakba Day protests on Sunday were returned back to Syria on Tuesday, Army Radio reported. The two men crossed at the Druse Golan village Majdal Shams, a site that saw violent protests erupt with at least 100 Syrians infiltrating the northern border and one Syrian reportedly killed.
Another Syrian national, Hassan Hijazi, was arrested in Tel Aviv on Monday after giving an interview with Channel 10 news. Police have requested an extension for his arrest.
