UK Secretary of State to meet Netanyahu to boost trade

UK Secretary of State for International Trade and President of the Board of Trade Liam Fox arrived in Israel on Monday night to discuss the potential of Israeli investors and fast-growing tech companies to boost UK-Israeli bilateral trade.

“Britain's relationship with Israel is stronger than it has ever been with record levels of bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, science and technology," Fox said. "2017 alone saw more than $9 billion worth of goods trade between our two countries."

As the UK prepares for leaving the European Union, the UK is looking to replicate existing trade agreements the EU has to ensure its trade relationships with more than 70 countries continue.
