Ukraine: 37 killed in bus crash, 12 injured

KIEV, Ukraine — The Ukranian Interior Ministry on Tuesday announced that a passenger bus collided with a train in eastern part of the country, killing 37 people and injuring 12.
Interior Ministry traffic police department spokesman Yevgeny Kravets said the collision occurred Tuesday in the eastern Dnipropetrovsk region.
Local railway officials said the bus attempted to cross the track, ignoring a siren that indicated an oncoming train. They said rescuers and investigators are working at the scene of the crash.
