The US Consulate in Jerusalem warned American citizens in Israel and the Palestinian territories of the need for "caution and awareness of personal security" on the anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks."We recommend you review your personal security plans; remain aware of your surroundings, including local events; and monitor local news stations for updates. You should maintain a high level of vigilance, take appropriate steps to enhance your personal security and follow instructions of local authorities," the consulate said in its advisory.
