Vandals target Pole working on Jewish remembrance

WARSAW, Poland — The head of a Polish group devoted to Jewish remembrance has said that his home was attacked with bricks painted with swastikas.
Tomasz Pietrasiewicz, director of a cultural institution in the eastern Polish city of Lublin, said he was sleeping when bricks and small explosives were thrown at his house Friday night, shattering windows and causing minor damage. He says he was in a different part of his home and was not hurt.
