Ya'alon: IDF, Barak has dragged the IDF into madness

Deputy Prime minister and former chief of staff Moshe Ya'alon said that it is the government's responsibility to appoint as quickly as possible a new IDF chief of staff. Ya'alon added that according to him the best possible scenario would have been to allow outgoing Chief of Staff Maj.-Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi to continue to serve in his role until the newly appointed would take the position, Israel Radio reported.

Ya'alon claimed that Barak was was leading the IDF system into insanity, but that some of the responsibility rests on the entire government as well.
