Yair Naveh to face his own High Court challenge

Maj.-Gen. Yair Naveh, expected to be confirmed Thursday as temporary chief of general staff while a successor for departing chief Gabi Ashkenazi is selected, is also due to face a challenge in the high court, Army Radio reported Wednesday.
The petition being brought against him is based on the documents leaked by Anat Kam to Haaretz journalist Uri Blau. In those reports, Naveh is accused of violating international law and Supreme Court guidelines by assassinating wanted persons who could have been arrested and the harming of innocents in the area, according to the report.
