Zoabi attacks Knesset C'tee decision to strip her privileges

The committee decision to strip her of some of her parliamentary privileges was a step whose essence was a delegitimation of Arab Knesset members and put the political equality of Arab citizens into question, MK Hanin Zoabi told Israel Radio on Monday.

“They conducted a field trial against me,” she said, “they have called on the public to harm me,” she said of the committees largely decision to remove largely symbolic privileges.

Zoabi added that if soldiers' lives were put in danger, it was the government's doing, by sending them into action “illegally, in international waters.” Holding the Palestinians under siege is a crime, she said.

She said she would participate in flotillas to break the Gaza embargo in the future.
