Exports to the US - not including diamonds - rose 27.5% to $9.5 billion in 2006 compared with the previous year, the Israel Export Institute reported on Wednesday.
In 2006, hi-tech exports to the US increased by 43% over 2005 to $5.5b. Drug exports grew by 68% during the same period to $2.6b.
Looking ahead to 2007, the Israel Export Institute expects US exports to increase by 6% to $10.1 b.
