Tadiran signs large deal in China telecom market

Tadiran Telecom will supply telecommunication services in China to the underground train in Beijing, the fast train to Beijing airport and the tower at the airport, the Internet news site NFC reported on Wednesday. The deal was estimated as worth several millions of dollars. Tadiran Telecom is part of the Africa-Israel business group and is a well known Israeli manufacturer of electronics and communications devices. The company is regarded in China as a worthy competitor to such international giants as the French corporation Alcatel and the German-based Siemens. In 2006 Tadiran Telecom expanded its activity in the Chinese market and was rated 7th among the VOIP service providers in the country.
