Ministers say court must help settle teachers' strike

The government will again turn to the National Labor Court to help bring stalled negotiations with striking teachers back on track, Education Minister Yuli Tamir and Finance Minister Roni Bar-On said Monday. "We have done all that we can to end the strike," Bar-On said at a press conference held by the two ministers. "We are again asking for the court to assist because we're butting our heads against a brick wall," Tamir said. The two made no mention of plans to request an injunction from the court which would force teachers to return to schools.
