A woman's atmosphere "You can take the girl out of England, but you can't take England out of the girl!" Hardly an original statement, but have you noticed? The non-original statements are usually the true ones and due to countless repetitions one really must believe them! I am now talking about my friend, Nancy. Nancy arrived to Israel from England as a very young girl, but completely English she remained… So we sat in our cafeteria on a terrible day. It was raining and storming outside and no one felt like going out, even in case of necessity. Nancy arrived and joined us, took a look at what's going on outside and exclaimed: "What a gorgeous day! Just like home! Makes me feel really nostalgic!" The changes which my home underwent are rather pleasing. Somehow I think that the place resembles me quite a bit. It is not quite as organized as Nadya would like it to be, things are still lying around where they should not, but the new chaos makes sense somehow.
