The fast-food chain Burger King is opening a first branch in Haifa. The chain’s flagship branch in the north of the country is one of the largest branches in Israel and spans an area of about 220 square meters in the heart of the vibrant scene of the lower city, at 2 Sha'ar Palmer Street, and will offer seating both inside and outside the restaurant.
This is the brand’s 18th branch in the country, under the control of Delek Israel, joining branches recently opened in Rishon Lezion and an additional branch in Holon. The new branch will also offer for the first time in the northern capital the beloved dishes sold worldwide and in Israel, such as the classic Whopper sandwiches with 100% real beef – without additives – grilled over the fire, nugget snacks, dishes from the plant-based category, the popular kids’ meals and of course desserts.
The new restaurant will also offer its menu as part of the chain’s delivery service, which operates via the website, the official Burger King Israel app and via leading food delivery apps. The newly forming team of the branch is currently looking for additional employees to join a variety of positions; it is possible to receive more details about the training and the employment conditions and to apply at the branch itself.
According to Dana Tochner, CEO of Burger King Israel: “The opening of our flagship branch in Haifa is a formative and strategic moment alike. For me personally, it is an emotional closure in the city where I was born and raised, but also a central step in strengthening the chain’s distribution and in a central leisure segment. The new branch, one of the largest we have in Israel, offers indoor and outdoor seating and is intended to serve diverse audiences of families, students and night-goers alike.”
She also added: “We chose a location situated in the heart of Haifa’s entertainment area and it operates on weekends until 2:00 in the morning, as part of a new concept we are examining these days and is expected to expand also to additional branches that we will open later.”
Operating hours: Sunday–Wednesday between 11:30–22:30, Thursday–Friday between 11:30–02:00, and on Saturday between 11:30–24:00.
