The line between at-home facial treatments and professional aesthetic procedures is becoming increasingly blurred. The Japanese brand Shiseido, which has been a leader in skincare for over 150 years, is launching a new product that aims to bridge this gap. So what’s actually inside, and who is it intended for?

The Bio-Performance Micro-Click Concentrate is an anti-aging product that offers a non-invasive approach to lifting the skin and reducing wrinkles and pores. What sets it apart from other products on the market is the special applicator that comes with it, which features 18 tiny micro-points made from surgical-grade materials. The idea is that these points create micro-openings in the skin, allowing the formula to penetrate deeply while simultaneously encouraging natural skin renewal.

The formula itself is based on niacinamide, also known as vitamin B3, a well-established ingredient in skincare for boosting collagen production and improving skin firmness. In addition, the product contains a brand-specific complex designed to refine the appearance of pores and support long-term anti-aging effects.

The product is used in two stages. In the first stage, it is applied every other day for 12 days at night for an intensive skin treatment. After that, it moves to a weekly maintenance stage to preserve the results.

What the numbers say:

According to the brand’s data, after just six uses, wrinkles appear three times less visible, the skin looks twice as lifted, and pores are reduced by approximately 83%. Of course, these are average results, and outcomes vary from person to person. The tests were conducted on about 110 women over 11 days.

Who is it for?

The product is intended for women and men aged 30 and over who are looking for an at-home alternative to professional aesthetic treatments. The price is NIS 1,000, placing it in the premium category of the skincare market.
