Attackers of Nahariya doctor arrested after murder threat and violence

A father and son from Acre who pushed, cursed and threatened to murder the director of the emergency room at the Western Galilee Hospital in Nahariya were arrested on Thursday. The son had been in the emergency room complaining of stomach pain; he had previously been referred by health fund doctors for tests in the community, but came to the hospital to shorten the procedures. After an x-ray showed he had gallstones, the young man decided to "take revenge," the hospital doctors' union said. The doctor managed to press an emergency button, bringing in a security guard who turned them over to the police.
