According to the expert, drinking clove water before bed provides numerous benefits—including liver detoxification, improved digestion, reduced inflammation in the body, reduced nighttime cravings for sweets, and improved sleep quality. In addition, cloves have natural antiviral and antibacterial properties.
How does it work?
Dr. Berg explained that “clove contains a compound called eugenol that can serve as a natural relaxant and help you fall asleep easily and pleasantly. In addition, it reduces nighttime cravings, supports the liver’s detox function, and improves digestion during sleep. Since cloves also have anti-inflammatory properties, you may wake up in the morning feeling refreshed and without muscle stiffness.”

How to prepare clove water:
Place 2–3 whole cloves in a cup of hot water.
Wait 10–15 minutes to allow it to infuse.
