Seven people were killed in a suicide bombing in the northern city of Zemmouri, Algerian national radio reported.
The broadcaster said the blast occurred Sunday morning.
It was not immediately clear who was behind the attack, and the radio station gave no further details.
A bombing last week at a police station in another northern city injured 21 people.
Algeria's al-Qaida affiliate - al-Qaida in Islamic North Africa - claimed responsibility for that attack.
