Two brothers held in the disappearance of American teenager Natalee Holloway were expected to appear before a judge Friday in Aruba while a third suspect was due to be transferred soon to the Dutch Caribbean island from the Netherlands.
Surinamese brothers Satish and Deepak Kalpoe were scheduled to make an initial appearance before a judge who will consider whether prosecutors have enough evidence to justify holding them for at least eight more days while continuing to pursue the investigation.
The brothers have been held since Wednesday in separate police stations on suspicion of involvement in Holloway's death.
Joran van der Sloot was expected to arrive in Aruba on Friday, a day after a judge in the Netherlands approved his arrest and transfer, the prosecutor's office said.
