Congress to dispatch support mission to Israel

The US House of Representatives is sending a solidarity mission to Israel, to show the US's support for the people of Israel. The delegation, which will leave for Israel on Saturday, includes five members of congress from both parties: Pete Hoekstra (R-MI), chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, Jane Harman (D-CA) the ranking Democrat on the committee, Darrell Issa (R-CA) who is a grandson of an immigrant from Lebanon, Rick Renzi (R-AZ) and Robert Wexler (D-FL). The mission is expected to convey the support of the US House of Representatives for Israel, as it was expressed in the resolution passed on Thursday by a 410-8 majority.
