EU presidency condemns Eilat bombing

Germany, currently holder of the EU presidency, condemned Monday's suicide bombing in the Israeli resort of Eilat and urged the Palestinian leadership to work to stop terrorism. A Palestinian suicide bomber killed himself and three people when he attacked a bakery in the town - the first such bombing in Israel in nine months. An EU presidency statement condemned the attack "in the strongest terms." It said Germany "urges the Palestinian leadership to do everything in its power to put an end to terror and bring to justice those who support terror."
