At least 15 people were killed Sunday when a bomb hidden under a pile of garbage exploded on a main road in the Somali capital, witnesses said.
Salah Adde said 10 of those killed were women who had been cleaning the street.
Medina hospital head Dahir Dhere said 35 casualties were admitted, adding that most were women and children.
The attack follows the signing of a peace agreement last month that has fueled power struggles within the transitional government and the Islamic insurgency it is fighting.
